Fine words of wisdom from a young lad to his sister as they were walking across a fallen tree over water.
I was unsure about going for a walk this afternoon, but saw it in my minds eye and decided it was meant to be. I had to pre-book a spot in order to get into our local park. They only let so many people in at a time. I was able to get a spot today because it was bad weather. So I got dressed in my rain attire and drove to the park.
Lately people have come into my awareness who fear public speaking. I can remember back when I had that same fear but was cured of it when the “meeting binder” was literally tossed into the group by my trainer. He said: “Just talk, you know what you’re doing!”
I had a dream last night that I showed up to work without my uniform. It got me thinking. I believe we manifest situations and people in our lives for ultimate growth and learning, especially if these situations and people really get under our skin. When this happens in my life, I take it as a sign that some part of me wants to leap out of a self-imposed box and have a breakthrough – almost as if to say: I’ve had enough of being bothered and want to move on from this ridiculousness. Our words contribute to healthy living and are just as important to us as good nutrition and exercise. Our words are powerful and carry weight. If we are not careful, continually being casual with our word and promises may lead to unconscious feelings of guilt, unworthiness, self-blame and depression. Sound severe? Over time, this negatively effects our vitality and life force.
